Of The Many Satisfactions Provided by a Library

As I was logging onto the website of my library system to manage my account, renew some books, and order new ones, I realized an important fact:  browsing and requesting books from my library online gives me the same satisfaction and sense of anticipation as browsing and purchasing something from a website, except it's free!

This is extremely important in my life, as I'm one of those people who periodically needs something to look forward to as a little pick-me-up.  Often that "something" must be purchased.  It can be something small--a scented candle, perhaps, or a new pair of shoes.  To get this same feeling for free, though, is amazing.  Libraries, you are amazing.

Yay libraries!
