My House Has a Literary History

The Dear Fiance and I are closing on our new house tomorrow, and we're terribly excited about it.  It's a quirky house, and appropriately for me, it has a literary history!  Though we did not know this when we put in our offer, the current owner wrote a commercially published memoir that is partially set at the house (to protect the owner's privacy I will not name the memoir, so you'll have to take my word for it).  We can't wait to order this book and keep it in our collection.  It's a work we otherwise probably never would have heard of or sought out, but as soon as I learned about it, I knew I had to buy it.  Something about reading and knowing this little piece of our home's history is irresistable.

Have you ever been led to a book through some odd coincidence like this?
